How to pair

Before using your mobile phone with Blue&Me™, you must create a pairing relationship between the mobile phone and Blue&Me™. After this procedure, Blue&Me™ will automatically connect to your phone each time that you enter the car and turn the car's key to the 'on' position.

To create a pairing relationship using manual interaction, follow these steps when the car is not moving:
Navigate to the Blue&Me Setup / Setup, Pairing, and then press <SRC> or <TEL>. Blue&Me™ starts the pairing procedure.
Blue&Me™ shows the mobile phone pairing PIN number on the display screen and also speaks the PIN number.

• Press MENU button.
• Select the SET UP BLUETOOTH icon.
• Select ADD DEVICE.
• Select "Blue&Me".
• Enter the PIN, press OK.
• When prompted to "Accept connection request from Blue&Me?"
  first flag "Don't ask it again" then select YES

If Blue&Me has to be trusted later

• Select Blue&Me
• Select DEVICE PROPERTIES
• Set the option TRUSTED to YES
  

Tips & Tricks

(1) Contacts download

• Only contacts stored on the phone are downloaded.
• Phone's contacts are transferred as "Name, Surname - Type" where "Type" could assume the values of Home, Home 2, Work, Mobile, Mobile 2, etc. Therefore to call a name stored on Blue&Me device by speech recognition you should say: "Call" followed by "Name Surname” and “Type".
